Book Of The Month

Cinderella is one of the oldest, best-known, and most loved stories worldwide, with hundreds of cultural variants. In this version we follow the trials and tribulations of the sweet, gentle, and pious Zahra when her parents die and she is left at the mercy of an uncaring stepmother and stepsisters. This is a well-crafted Islamic version of the classic tale in which faith, goodness, and prayer are rewarded in the end.

Other Books:

The Ogress and the snake: and other Stories from Somalia

This book is a wonderful collection of eight dessert tales from Somalia. Wicked stepmothers, gold, snakes, why dogs are a man's best friend. It's all here in these beautifully retold stories.

Muslim Teenagers Coping: With Parents, Family, Life, the Universe and Everything

This book is a light-hearted, humorous, but above all, sympathetic pointer to coping with teenage life as a Muslim.
